The Academy For Collaborative Practice (ACLP) was formed as a legal practice group and educational institute working with the Colorado Collaborative Law Professionals (CCLP). Its membership consists of attorneys with 10 years of Family Law experience in Colorado, and collateral professionals (financial, mental health, coaches) with substantial experience in Family Law matters.

A waiver of the requirement for attorneys can be obtained based on exceptional ability.

In order to join ACLP, receive mentoring, and attend seminars, membership in CCLP is necessary. Each ACLP member must also participate on committees which promote excellence in the practice of Collaborative Law.
